SGL Carbon has developed a new company logo and changed its name from SGL Group – The Carbon Company.
‘With the completion of the strategic realignment, a new era begins for us as a company,’ said Dr Jürgen Köhler, CEO. ‘Now is the right time to rethink and sharpen our profile. As a technology-based company it is our aspiration to develop smart solutions that deliver a clear benefit for our customers.’
The company says that the return to the name SGL Carbon expresses its ‘core expertise and origin’.
